Do you have a passion for food and drink, and a desire to make a difference? FWD is looking for an exceptional candidate who would enjoy working with leading food and drink businesses as a senior member of an award-winning team.
KEY OBJECTIVES
1. To recruit, enthuse and retain FWD supplier and wholesaler members
2. To creatively develop and enhance the FWD member strategy and offer
3. To build and maintain relationships with FWD supplier and wholesaler members
4. To ensure FWD is maximising commercial opportunities and income
PERSON SPECIFICATION
1. A proactive and dynamic driver of monetisable new ideas
2. Exceptional account management skills
3. A passion for sales
4. Experience of working in a member organisation, and understanding of commercial opportunities and industry best practice (desirable)
5. Knowledge of the food and drink wholesale sector (desirable)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Grow supplier membership through devising and implementing recruitment strategies, managing relationships with supplier members, and retaining them
2. Manage the offer to suppliers and recommend developments, updates and enhancements
3. Devise a comprehensive offer for sponsorship opportunities across FWD and in Wholesale activity
4. Support the Wholesale News team to drive revenues
5. Deliver insights and other value through presentations to supplier members
6. Maintain a strong industry network to keep up-to-date with current issues and opportunities
7. Ensure benefits of FWD membership are being effectively communicated
8. Work with FWD team to devise, produce and deliver high-quality events with strong networking value
9. Introduce and work with FWD team to maintain an effective membership CRM system
10. Ensuring FWD colleagues understand and can support the supplier member offer
11. Quarterly presentations to FWD Council
12. Attending industry events
13. Supporting and deputising for Chief Executive and Head of External Affairs
14. Out of hours work and travel within UK

1. Hitting targets for membership and income
2. Interaction and contact with members
3. Offer to members improving year on year
4. Member engagement with and attendance at events, and positive feedback
5. Improved member recruitment and retention processes
