We are looking for a motivated and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager / Assistant Manager to join a professional team in Hull. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of care, and supporting a multidisciplinary team in line with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support staff, ensuring adherence to policies and values.
* Assist in budget management and resource allocation.
* Oversee recruitment, staff development, and personal reviews.
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards and Health & Safety regulations.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to provide holistic care.
* Handle reporting, finance, payroll, and absence management.
* Conduct risk assessments and safeguard individuals.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent (commitment to work towards may be considered).
Required Skills
* Knowledge of high-quality service standards and experience with quality measures, including audits and implementing improvements.
* Understanding of statutory requirements including CQC regulations.
* Experience identifying and addressing staff training needs in compliance with social care regulatory standards.
* Proven experience delivering high-quality services and managing staff through formal supervisions and appraisals.
* Strong commitment to person-centred care and a positive approach to problem-solving and complaints.
