Information Governance Officer
£32,397 - £37,280 per annum
Full Time/Fixed Term Maternity cover for 9 months
About the Role
The Governance and Legal Services Team has an excellent opportunity for an Information Governance Officer. We are looking for a high quality and enthusiastic individual to join us on a temporary basis for maternity cover to provide advice to colleagues in the area of information governance.
The successful candidate will have a background in handling and dealing with data protection matters, and prior experience of working with and in an information governance environment is essential. In addition, they will have excellent organisational and written skills as well as a strong administration background. The ability to work to a high level of confidentiality and accuracy and within deadlines is an essential requirement for this role. We are looking for individuals who possess an ability to prioritise their own workload, with a positive attitude and a responsive customer focused approach to solving queries.
The role involves frequent interaction with senior colleagues within the University as well as with external contacts. This requires excellent interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy. This is a hybrid role, working between our City campus and home.
