The Role
We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic, and hungry CTO to initially join us as an advisor. Upon securing our next funding round later this year, the CTO will transition into a full-time leadership position, overseeing all technical aspects of the company.
What You'll Do
1. Lead the company's technological vision, defining and driving our technology roadmap.
2. Provide strategic insights on scaling architecture, security, and infrastructure.
3. Assess and refine our current tech stack, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
4. Leverage cutting-edge technologies such as AI and machine learning to enhance the user experience and platform performance.
5. Lead, build, and grow a world-class engineering team post-funding.
6. Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to align technical execution with company vision.
7. Establish best practices in development, DevOps, and data security.
8. Guide technical due diligence for investors and stakeholders.
Who You Are
1. A seasoned technology leader with experience in consumer apps, social platforms, or disability-focused technology.
2. A deep understanding of building user-centric products that solve meaningful problems for people.
3. Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams, from hiring to mentoring.
4. Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
5. Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
6. Strong collaboration skills, working closely with product and community teams.
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts effectively for non-technical stakeholders.
8. Passionate about accessibility and inclusion and eager to build a product with a huge social impact.
