Role
To oversee all aspects of the Hamilton District Foodbank operation and ensure alignment to the agreed operating model as follows:
* Recruiting volunteers including interviews, reference checks, disclosure checks (as required), and obtaining signed confidentiality / GDPR agreements.
* Recruiting and supporting Duty Co-ordinators.
* Ensuring that all volunteers adhere to the confidentiality agreement.
* Ensuring that the Foodbank meets Health and Safety standards.
* Ensuring that the Foodbank meets Environmental Health standards.
* Developing, maintaining and ensuring compliance to policies and procedures (e.g. Safeguarding).
* Maintaining awareness of the benefit system and any changes to it, and understanding and responding to the impact of those changes on the Foodbank operation and future plans.
* Communicating with all the relevant people including churches, volunteers, Trussell Trust, Referring Agencies and Committee members.
* Ensuring that the Foodbank maintains the online database, website, and social media.
* Communicating with local media and positively promoting the Foodbank service.
* Organising Foodbank representation at Community events.
* Working in partnership with the Salvation Army in Hamilton.

The main focus of this new role is to grow and develop supporter relationships that secure the longer-term sustainability of Glenrothes Foodbank through grants, corporate donations, and sponsorships.
This role would be suited to someone with strong written communication skills and relationship-building skills who is driven and well-organised.

Person Specification
* Experience of working in a fundraising role.
* Experience of securing funds/contracts.
* Experience of developing and submitting successful written applications.
* Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills and the ability to connect with a range of different people.

* Ability to manage time effectively including working to tight deadlines.
* Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

About the Role
We are currently seeking a communications and admin officer role, based within our foodbank in Tranent. This is a new and exciting role available to work within a small and dynamic team, to help us ensure the consistent delivery and day-to-day functions of our foodbank.
This is a combined role, with most of the focus on communication functions. You will assist in the development of daily social media, team, service user, key partner, and supporter communication. By creating high-quality content and resources using a range of online applications. Alongside this, a smaller part of the role will include daily office tasks as needed.

Since its introduction, our money advice project has achieved significant financial gains for our service users. We are now looking for the right person to join our team to drive forward the continued success in year 3 of our project.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and positive individual to help those using our foodbank to access our money advice service to help improve their circumstances over the long term.
To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with our advice partner Musselburgh Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) to ensure that our advice service continues to target those most in need of our support.
You will regularly monitor and review the effectiveness of the project, utilising key data to inform continuous improvement whilst also taking account of feedback from our key partners and those who use our service. You will also work as part of the wider foodbank team to support our overall operations and service delivery.
The Trust has a vacancy for a Project Coordinator. This is an opportunity for a creative and caring individual with excellent organisational, administrative and volunteer management skills to play a leading role in the running and development of a highly successful community project aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of residents of the Perthshire village of Stanley.
Working in partnership with existing groups and statutory services, the successful applicant will coordinate and support volunteers to run a time bank offering opportunities to local people to devote some of their spare time to helping others. Activities undertaken by members range from dog walking, gardening, shopping to more specialised tasks.
The post holder will be required to recruit and train a group of befrienders to support individuals at risk of social isolation and loneliness and to support a volunteer group that runs a lunch club aimed at reducing loneliness.
The post holder would also be responsible for securing funding to continue ongoing community projects within the village.
