We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to expand our market presence and strengthen client relationships in the North East England region. Role Overview: As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of commercial pumps to contractors, consultants, and industrial clients. You will build and maintain relationships, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional service. Your expertise in the water and HVAC pump market, combined with your understanding of contractor and consultant requirements, will ensure success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share targets in the assigned territory. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on contractors, consultants, and industrial clients. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and facility managers. Provide technical support and product knowledge to assist clients in selecting the most suitable solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and concerns within the territory. Product Promotion and Support: Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training to contractors and consultants. Collaborate with the technical team to provide tailored solutions that meet client specifications and project requirements. Stay updated on product developments, industry standards, and technological advancements. Reporting and Collaboration: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for senior management. Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns and promotional activities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in a sales role within the water and/or HVAC pump industry. Strong knowledge of commercial pumps and their applications in HVAC and water systems. Demonstrated history of selling to contractors, consultants, and industrial clients. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools. A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the North East region. Preferred Qualifications: Technical background or qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
