Job Title: Media Innovation Manager Level & Responsibility: This role is at a Manager level in terms of skills and requirements, but does not currently have line management responsibility within its remit. Salary: £39,000 per annum, depending on experience plus a 10% bonus scheme Location & Hybrid Working: Leeds, 2 days per week in the office The role We are looking for a Media Innovation Manager to join our central Innovation team working with LS11. In this role, you will be a key figure within the partnership business and responsible for supporting on the development and implementation for all new digital and physical media innovation for one of our largest and most ambitious retailer partnerships. You’ll be the lead on implementing innovative media solutions, building and refining our processes and go-to-market strategies, and working closely with our partnership teams to understand how we’re able to overcome the challenges currently facing our supplier partners. A proven track-record of being able to deliver strong results in a fast-paced environment. Experience of working within a retailer and understanding of how multiple functions work collaboratively. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, providing both short and long-term projects. Commercial competence. Aptitude for working independently and proactively as a self-starter. Previous experience building/working in an existing retail media network, or a media agency is ideal but not essential. What you'll be doing We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like: You’ll be responsible for helping to develop and implement our future innovation roadmap for Physical and Digital Media Development at one of our key Retailers. You’ll work closely with our Client and Operations teams within the retailer partnership team, as well as our retailer colleagues to ensure a smooth deployment of new media services. You’ll provide strategic support, such as long-term brand plan advice to the partnership team regarding both Digital and Physical channels, as well as how new innovative solutions may help solve their brand challenges. Support with challenging operational issues to ensure all channels are providing value for SMG, our Retail Partner and Brands/Suppliers. Support on the development of tools & platforms that are required that would improve efficiency or commercialisation of digital and physical properties at the Retailer. Be accountable for the on-boarding process of new digital and technical partners from identification to procurement and eventual roll-out. Support in the activation of new media channels, including the development of our off-site 1PD proposition, the development of On-site media, and the future digitalisation of our in-store offering.
