We are seeking a competent, friendly candidate to join our office in Newton Abbot. You must be well organised with keen attention to detail and have a willingness to learn.
The successful applicant will support the business owner/financial planner and another staff member with administration support, to provide clients with an unsurpassed level of service, providing a vital link in the smooth running and efficiency of the business.
Candidate Requirements
* Liaising with clients and providers by phone, via their secure platform or by email and letter
* Diligent use of our back-office system INTELLIGENT OFFICE to record client details, tasks, plans etc.
* Experience with Microsoft Office, a good overall standard of IT literacy
* Liaising with product providers to obtain and chase information
* Processing new business applications, both paper-based and online, then chasing cases through to completion
* Researching fund performance
* Preparation of illustrations and key features
* Production of Simple Advice Reports
* Producing client reports from various sources
* Administering fund switches and portfolio rebalances
* General office duties to include scanning, filing, photocopying, appointment booking
* Administrative duties to support financial adviser and paraplanners
* The ability to work alone and on own initiative
* A previous role in financial services administration would be preferred but not essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,500.00 per year depending on experience
