Job Opportunity: Household Claims Support Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding team within the support area of Household Claims. This role involves ensuring robust controls are in place, testing them, and acting as an internal and supplier audit function. If you have an inquisitive nature, a desire to learn, and want to develop your technical knowledge across household claims, this could be the role for you.
You will play a vital role in delivering the best customer experience by identifying areas for improvement and testing existing controls. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The key skills for this role are communication, collaboration, and influencing change. You should be able to address process hurdles, identify root causes of issues, resolve problems, and gather necessary details for swift resolution.
A proven track record in an insurance claims function is required. We support ongoing professional development, including courses from the Chartered Insurance Institute and the British Damage Management Association.
Minimum Requirements
* Knowledge of home or property insurance products and claim handling.
* Experience in case review or process/control testing is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex issues.
* Effective communication skills suitable for all audiences, including senior management.
* Flexibility and effective time management.
* Ability to make informed judgments and recommendations impacting data such as CRMI.
* Commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes and supporting the team.
* Empathy and passion for resolving issues.
* Ability to translate ideas into actionable steps.
* Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
