Our Governors are seeking to appoint a L3 Teaching Assistant in school for 32.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only. Main responsibilities will include providing support with teaching and learning for a variety of pupils, small group interventions such as Speech and Language, occasional Cover Supervision class support and other day to day Teaching Assistant requirements. We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate a strong commitment to progressing the learning outcomes for all our pupils, and who can show how they would deploy their existing skills to engage and support all learners. Working as a member of the support staff team, the post holder will also be responsible for assisting with the preparation of classroom resources, undertaking first aid duties (training will be provided), and attending continued professional development opportunities. The post holder must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of our Child Protection and Safeguarding policies in the context of a Teaching Assistant role.
