The Role:
Join us as an EMEA Bid Manager on our Global Sales Enablement team and you will be an integral part in the winning of new business, expansion, & retention of current clients within Korn Ferry’s RPO business. You will be a key team member focused on developing, documenting, executing, and overseeing the proposal & sales collateral development process from initial stages through presentations and signature.
Within this role, you are the key, consultative partner to the Business Development team for a pursuit. You will project manage a variety of complex bids & responses, adhere to client timelines, developing and executing realistic workplans across different work streams, managing input from & collaboration from others, interact with all specialists and leadership across multiple departments such as Commercial, Legal, Marketing and get to know our business inside-out. You will work alongside an experienced team in knowledge management/ information maintenance for all sales and bid-related information and grow your knowledge of our industry as well as growing your knowledge in creative bid writing/ document preparation and bid management.
You will gain a lot of exposure working closely with Korn Ferry Leaders and Managers (both in EMEA & globally) and will manage multiple stakeholders and deal with complex business relationships in supporting the delivery of strong, creative, winning proposals.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Project Manage the bid process and deliver concurrent bids, from point of receipt to effective bid submission and delivery of supplier presentations.
2. Own resource identification across the globe through collaboration with numerous external stakeholders.
3. Collaborate and partner with global Sales teams and other stakeholders as necessary to extract relevant and compelling content as applicable to the opportunity.
4. Using your creative flare, strategically partner with and influence senior leaders to develop the opportunity value proposition and ensure we are in a winning position with every tender process.
5. Analyse and review information to conduct a needs’ analysis of the client’s requirements and identify win themes in collaboration with the Pursuit Lead.
6. Hold overall responsibility in the creation, preparation and collation of RFP & pitch documentation.
7. Be able to tell a story and bring a client on a journey.
8. Gain a thorough and complete understanding of Korn Ferry’s entire portfolio and provide recommendations on our solutions.
9. Further strengthen the existing bid content library through the development of fresh and innovative content.
10. Ensure that all new content is standardized and extracted for repeatable use.
11. Build and develop standard business development decks for repeatable use.
12. Build and develop new case studies and ensure that the existing case study library is kept up to date.
