Its a business that values your ideas, your accuracy, and your experience.Key ResponsibilitiesYoull join the pre-construction and commercial team, taking ownership of electrical tenders from receipt through to submission. That means working with drawings and specifications, liaising with suppliers for quotes, building BOQs, and ensuring tenders are returned on time and on point.Your responsibilities will include:Reviewing tender documentation and identifying key requirementsPreparing accurate and competitive electrical estimatesWorking with internal teams to ensure tender accuracy and clarityLiaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers to gather relevant informationAttending pre and post-tender meetings when requiredSupporting the handover process to operational teams after contract awardYoull be pricing projects across a range of sectors, mostly within the North-West. You wont be thrown in the deep end without support, but you will be trusted to own your work.Skills & Experience RequiredExperience matters, but so does approach.
Youll need a good understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Just as importantly, youll need to be organised, methodical, and confident dealing with others.Heres what will help you succeed in this role:Previous experience in electrical estimating within the building services sectorSolid understanding of commercial and industrial electrical installationsComfortable working with estimating software and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and a head for numbersGood communication skills with clients and colleagues alikeAbility to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlinesIf youve ever been the person in the room who spots the thing others miss, youll fit right in.BenefitsYou wont be micro-managed.
