Resolve any problems using available resources Set up and run complex development tests without a procedure and defining the new test procedures, applying existing best practice principles (via clear and coherent note making) as the test programme progresses. Component Service Service Test Cells, following a TPM (Total Prevention Maintenance) check sheet Follow procedures to change filters, oil, coolant, components and supporting facility service activities as required. Component Build Support the construction of rigs/frames/sub-assemblies for test work to appropriate procedures. Including: Construction of frames – assembling Rexroth-type frames, cutting and assembling framework using the appropriate hand tools Connection of pipework – connecting, removing, constructing and routing of low pressure pipework through Rigs, Dynamometers, Sub-assemblies and Engines Location of suitable mechanical fittings (nuts, bolts, staublii fittings) – Checking the specification, locating fittings from the General and Test Operations Stores.
