Work as an expert in clinical field to deliver specialist clinical services to patients with Upper GI cancers and cancer of unknown primary. Provide holistic needs assessment and individualised compassionate care and be responsible for the delivery of patient-focused programmes of care, which address the complex and changing health and well-being needs of this patient group. Works with other professional groups in secondary and primary settings to develop and maintain holistic services for patients. Provide specialist, interdisciplinary education and training to other staff and students. Clinically manage and engineer the cancer pathway for patients with a diagnosis of cancer. Work strategically to influence and drive the development of the service both locally and nationally. Lead clinical audits in own area.
