This role matters: Following an investment in our retail team, we are looking to recruit a new permanent Relief Assistant Manager who will work across our network of shops. Could you provide support in busy periods or relief cover in the absence of the Shop Manager, to ensure the smooth running of the shop and a high level of customer satisfaction?
You will contribute towards maximising store sales and profits, promote Gift Aid and represent St John’s Hospice in a professional manner reflecting our core values at all times.
St John’s Hospice is the proud owner of ten shops. We have four furniture shops, and six additional shops selling clothes, books and more, all within the Lancaster, Morecambe, Garstang and Kendal areas. As a relief manager you will provide support to all locations on a rota basis, and this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and building relationships. You will be entitled to claim out of pocket expenses (mileage and parking) in accordance with our policy.
