Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join the Talent and Organisational Development team as an Assistant Learning and Development Advisor.
The post will work with the Senior Learning and Development Advisor and the Leader and Talent Development Manager, focusing on supporting the development and delivery of a wide range of learning and development opportunities across all Services. This includes a focus on behavioural and technical skills training, mandatory and regulatory development (including delivery of training on machinery and equipment), and the implementation of vocational qualifications. You will also assist in the design and delivery of learning and development activities using a blended approach, including developing e-learning modules.
Responsibilities
1. Support the development and delivery of learning and development opportunities.
2. Assist in the design and delivery of learning activities.
3. Develop e-learning modules.
4. Facilitate training sessions on Microsoft Teams.
Qualifications
You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic with extended experience of working within a learning and development environment. Experience within frontline Land Management or Waste Management services working with equipment and machinery would be advantageous. You will have excellent presentation skills and be able to communicate with various group sizes.
An HNC, SVQ3 or equivalent is essential for this post.
Work Model
This role will work on a hybrid model of home-based and office-based work within the Civic Complex, Motherwell.
