We are delighted to be working with this family-owned house builder with over 40 years’ experience delivering quality homes across Scotland. With a strong pipeline of future developments, this business is looking to add an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to their construction team.
Working alongside a Site Manager, you will be expected to carry out the following key duties day to day:
* Management of all day-to-day site activity.
* Responsible for driving the program and delivering quality products for customers.
* Providing first-class customer service through walkarounds/handovers.
* Responsible for all health and safety related activity on site.
* Quality inspections to ensure work meets expectations.
* Regular liaison with the Clerk of Works.
* Ensure delivery of homes is of the highest quality.
* Coordination of any snagging requirements.
To be successful in the role we are looking for the following:
* High levels of organisational skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Good numerical, IT and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
* Ability to work on initiative with minimum supervision.
We are looking for candidates who are goal-focused, methodical thinkers, enjoy working with the public, and delivering on customer care. Someone who has a real passion and flair for delivering quality homes and enjoys maintaining a tidy site compound!
A proven track record delivering new build construction projects is a must given the nature of this role, and it would certainly be desirable if you had experience in the housing industry. Up-to-date CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certificates are also required for this role.
