The Electronics & Embedded Systems (EES) business unit has world class experts in the provision of real-time embedded systems, specialising in safety and mission critical control systems. We are currently looking to expand our team to support a blue-chip engineering client working on a cutting edge Combat Systems development project in the Defence domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, develop test scripts and integrate Software Systems in an efficient manner. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, system engineers, and other software test/integration engineers, to ensure successful project delivery. Take ownership of assigned tasks, meet project deadlines, and maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail. Adhere to established standards, integration processes, and security protocols. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience with Python and C/C++ Embedded software testing expertise Ability to develop and write test cases and scenarios Good understanding of electronics Scripting experience (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) Automation experience, particularly with Python Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines Linux expertise Familiarity with IBM DOORS for configuration management Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Experience working in the UK Defence industry with particular focus on the Marine domain. Proven experience working as a Test/Integration Engineer. Eligibility and willingness to obtain SC Clearance (Security Check Clearance) is essential.
