Company Overview - Pump Service Engineer
Our client, a leader in their sector, is currently looking for a Pump Service Engineer to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis. This company has over 25 years of experience within the industry and is entering a period of growth, expanding their team to meet high customer demand.
This is an exciting time for the company, and the right candidate will need to be enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and personable with the drive to take full advantage of the opportunities available.
This is a field-based role, working with multiple clients across various sectors, including Residential, Commercial, Public Sector, Hospitality, and Retail. Services offered include maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installations of pump stations and associated equipment. Previous experience in these areas is preferred but not essential.
You will be part of a team that understands the importance of collaboration to ensure high standards of work are delivered. Support, training, and the correct tools will be provided to carry out your role efficiently and effectively.
Pump Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
1. Work in the following sectors: Residential, Commercial, Public Sector, Hospitality & Retail.
2. Take responsibility for the overall quality of work delivered on-site.
3. Communicate effectively with clients and the administration team.
4. Ensure the company meets obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations.
5. Perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties on client sites.
6. Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installations of pump stations and associated equipment.
7. Work with grey water and effluent systems and within confined spaces.
8. Provide reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment using a PDA and mobile phone.
9. Maintain a positive and helpful disposition while professionally communicating with customers.
10. Work independently or as part of a team.
11. Cover the London and surrounding areas.
Pump Engineer Skills and Experience:
1. A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (Essential).
2. A drive and enthusiasm to seize opportunities.
3. Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 Electrical qualifications and 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification are highly advantageous.
4. A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate are essential.
5. Good knowledge of grey water and effluent systems/submersible pumping stations.
