Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a full-time qualified, conscientious, highly motivated and innovative Humanities Teacher, for a thriving ‘Good’ Ofsted rated Boys Grammar School in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality lessons in Geography across all Key Stages. The ability to teach History to GCSE and/or Religious Studies to KS3 would be desirable.
You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for students, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both students and peers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
* Plan and teach well-structured differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's curriculum policy
* Give pupils regular feedback and encourage pupils to respond to the feedback
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school’s behaviour policy
* Deploy any support staff effectively
* Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils’ achievements and well-being
Must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 12 months of experience)
* Excellent subject knowledge
* Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
* Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2024) document
* Excellent classroom management
* Good communication skills
