Travel Product Assistant Full Time, Hertford

The Opportunity
We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic individual, with a keen interest in travel, to provide administrative and statistical support for our Product Team, who are responsible for choosing the hotels, tours, safaris and other products we use to design tailor-made holidays for our clients.
Your role will include:
* Preparing and maintaining product and sales resources
* Collecting and collating data for programme development
* Preparing statistical reports
* Assisting Sales Consultants with day-to-day product queries
* Liaising with external suppliers by phone, email, or in person
* Helping update and maintain the FREEDOM website
* Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
It’s a full-time position, five days a week, reporting to the Product Managers for each destination.
Your Experience
To be successful in the role you will need:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good numerical and analytical skills
* Competence using Excel and other Microsoft software
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
* Good geographical knowledge and a keen interest in travel
Travel industry experience would be advantageous, but is not essential if you excel in the above!

During your training programme you’ll have sessions with managers in each department, to give you a thorough understanding of the ethos of the company, how we work and the goals we are trying to achieve.
