A part time position has become available covering a Saturday and Sunday as well as cover of leave during the week. Hours are part time from 10.00am – 3.00pm.
Salary/package: Hourly rate £15.00
This unique service is designed to provide a bespoke service for each member of a Religious Community. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Sisters are provided with the highest quality catering provision to meet their dietary requirements. You will support a small team of staff in the provision of this service in an efficient and effective manner.
What we need from you as an experienced Cook:
· Level 2 Award in Professional Cookery with experience in cooking/preparing British and European dishes.
· Current Food Safety awareness certificate or willing to attain.
· Be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge associated with the activities of the role.
· Previous experience of catering for older people
· Knowledge of Health & Safety
· Knowledge of Food Hygiene Legislation
· Have good communication skills with a friendly and supportive attitude.
· An excellent work ethic with a great understanding of good timekeeping and presentation
· An ability to demonstrate the values of Hospitality, Impartiality, Integrity, and Courtesy the in day-to-day practices.
· Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
