THE ROLE Hours: 37 per week Salary: £37,938 - £40,476 Grade 9 Dudley’s SEND team has had a number of developments in recent years and continues its journey to ensure children and young people’s needs are met. Our transformed Children’s Services put children’s needs at the very heart of all that we do and we are looking for passionate, innovative, dedicated and determined Case Officers to join our team and help us deliver better outcomes for children and young people. There are several elements to the work undertaken by the SEND team, which ranges from statutory assessments, to case work at various age ranges from 0-25. These positions will ideally suit individuals who have experience of working with children and young people with SEND. They will have an excellent understanding of the statutory core role within the Local Authority which is supported by very good knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice. They will be outstanding communicators who work as part of a multiagency approach and with parent carers to support children and young people to achieve their outcomes. This individual will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a motivated and fast paced team to deliver excellent quality EHCPs to support positive outcomes for children and young people.
