The successful Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for all processes and employees on shift within the Maintenance area of responsibility.
Ensuring the Health & Safety of all employees within area of responsibility. Carry out daily / weekly H&S audits as defined Ensuring the highest levels of housekeeping within the department are maintained Carrying out 2nd stage disciplinary warnings, as necessary, for both timekeeping and discipline related issues Developing and promoting succession planning and training for employees within the department Carrying out risk assessments for departmental tasks in conjunction with appropriate skills from within team and engineering Co-ordinating the labour resource across the department on shift, including holiday cover contingencies Liaising with fellow employees in all areas to achieve production priorities
To be successful in this role of Maintenance Supervisor we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
Ideally a time served apprentice, electrical or mechanically biased, multiskilled would be an advantage Previous experience of supervising people A good knowledge of IT systems with particular skills in Excel & Word packages Experience of robotics would be advantageous Experience of working with Management Team Familiar with manufacturing equipment pneumatics hydraulics conveying systems temperature controller's plc's motors and drives
