Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning Offsite and Onsite works.
2. Purchasing/hiring/allocation of site equipment, plant, and labour.
3. Procurement and management of sub-contract trades.
4. Producing Lift Plans for Cranes (ideally will hold CPCS Appointed Person Blue Card).
5. Producing Method Statements.
6. Liaising with all internal departments (Drawing Office, Design, Production, Site, Accounts).
7. Liaising with customer and design team (Main Contractors, Engineers, Architects, Sub-Contractors).
8. Reviewing sub-contracts (NEC3,/4 JCT) including contract terms and conditions, scope, and programme.
9. Tracking contract changes, identifying risks and opportunities, and mitigating and realizing each respectively.
10. Producing monthly applications, pricing changes.
11. Regular site visits to monitor progress.
12. Responsible for the profitability, quality, safety, and programme of each project.
13. Attending pre-let meetings, pre-start meetings, and progress meetings.
About You:
1. Experienced Project Manager ideally within structural steelwork or the construction industry.
2. Positive attitude and a curious mindset.
3. Good written and oral communication skills.
4. Good standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and strategic skills.
6. Good computer skills.
7. Punctual and reliable.
