Job title: Governance/Assurance Team Lead

Salary: £38,500 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Assist with the daily management of operational activities and team performance
* Motivate, support, and develop team members to ensure high performance
* Lead team meetings and training sessions
* Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the resolution of operational queries
* Handle escalations and ensure a smooth end-user experience
* Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across teams
* Use analytic skills to conduct impact assessments and support planning
* Collaborate with Shared Services teams to optimise processes and provide updates
* Contribute to process improvements and maintain work instructions and procedures
* Continuously assess and improve Time & Attendance services for efficiency
Your skills and experiences:
* Strong leadership and people skills with previous line management experience
* Understanding of continuous improvement/process improvements
* Previous experience of assurance/governance activities
* Ability to plan and carry out impact assessments
The Time and Attendance Team:
The Time and Attendance team provides a service to over 30,000 UK based employees by processing and maintaining accurate Time and Attendance records. The role will operate in a busy customer-facing environment, dealing with queries of varying complexity from employees and stakeholders in the business, resolving transactional queries, processing requests, and maintaining accurate data and systems.
