We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated administrator/clinical planner who is able to work 20-25 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, be self-motivated with a drive to problem solve.
Good communication skills for face-to-face and telephone interactions. Previous General Practice experience would be beneficial but full training will be given.
Your main responsibilities will be to support the Practice in driving the improvement of processes and systems and assisting in the implementation of risk assessments and policies that will have long-term benefits for the Practice.
Ensuring all functions and building maintenance is carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols and timescales, reporting/liaising with the Practice Manager and other Heads of Department as appropriate.

Rosebank Health is the largest Primary Care Practice in Gloucester serving a population of over 40,000 patients over 4 locations; all surgeries are modern, purpose-built & fully equipped premises. The Practice has 11 Partners & a number of Salaried GPs. In addition, there is a large contingent of practice clinical and administrative staff including a nurse manager, pharmacists, physiotherapist, practice nurses, phlebotomist, HCAs, receptionists, care coordinators, and social prescribers.
Job responsibilities
Key responsibilities
* Assisting with the introduction and upkeep of all Practice procedures and policies.
* Ensuring all legislation published by Care Quality Commission is complied with within the Practice.
* Processing and filing patient safety and drug alerts.
* Carrying out audits including health and safety and data security to ensure the Practice is fully compliant with current legislation.
* Ensuring all the Practice premises checks are carried out.
* Assisting the Practice team in ensuring that the Practice is fully compliant with General Data Protection Regulations.
* Ensuring Practice risk assessments are carried out and regularly updated.
* Ensuring building maintenance contracts are carried out and kept up to date.
* Ensuring building repairs are managed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
* Assist to manage the Practice cleaning contract.
Other Activities:
* Attend regular Team Meetings and Staff meetings as required.
* Ensure building security have thorough knowledge of doors/windows/alarm.
* Ensure Information security have thorough knowledge of data security and protection, and cyber security.
* Ensure that all mandatory training is completed on time and kept up to date.
Person Specification
Experience
* Proven administrative experience in a range of settings.
* Knowledge/experience of clinical medical systems.
* Knowledge/experience of SystmOne.
* Experience of working in the NHS and preferably General Practice.
* Experience of working in an administrative environment.
* Experience of managing risk assessments and building maintenance.
Qualifications
* Good standard of education with 'A level' standard or equivalent.
* Qualification in business management.
* Qualification in risk assessments.
