We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Data Manager to join our procurement team, to support in transforming our approach to data. With new tools and a new proactive way of thinking, we're working to put top quality data at the heart of decision making to drive efficiency, efficacy, and value. As Procurement Data Manager, you'll spearhead the delivery of a data led procurement framework to our stakeholders and work collaboratively to deliver increased maturity and business value. The Procurement team are undertaking transformations and creating a platform to drive significant value through an enhanced operating model. We're reliant on the third parties which underpin our operations. Our aim is to maximise the potential of our supplier ecosystem to drive best value, whilst complying with regulation and Santander risk appetite. The difference you'll make: Creating and managing a procurement data ecosystem and an integrated suite of Management Information (MI) to drive value and manage risk Directing stakeholders in gaining a clear view of cost drivers, risk and opportunity in their business unit Providing insightful analysis to drive colleagues in making better quality data led decisions on a daily basis Improving the MI production process, identifying efficiencies and developing new meaningful insights What you'll bring: Ability to manage large sets of data by analysis and visualisation using SAP Analytics Cloud, as well as experience of SQL, Snowflake and Power BI Experience in managing a Data Management team with a focus on data governance, data analysis and data management It would also be nice for you to have: Knowledge of end-to-end Procurement systems, processes and data A curious mindset with the ability to identify data improvement opportunities and pro-actively engage with system owners to fix at source First class commitment, enthusiasm, and accountability Relevant Degree qualification or equivalent What else you need to know: Our preferred location for this role is Milton Keynes, but we'll also consider locating the role in Bradford or Glasgow. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
