Your role and responsibilities Suffolk County Council (SCC) delivers the 0 - 19 Healthy Child Service for the whole of Suffolk, which includes School Nursing, Health and Children's Centres, Family Nurse Partnership Services and our Health Business Centre. Working with and supporting families in the crucial early years of a child’s life, you will: play a key role in ensuring the best possible start in life for children in Suffolk have a profound impact on the lifelong health and wellbeing of young children and their families help families and young children overcome the challenges that they face provide expert advice, information, assessments, and interventions. SCC has invested in Staff Nurses to work alongside Health Visitors and Healthy Child Practitioners to facilitate improved public health outcomes. We specialise in working with families with children aged 0 to 5 to identify health needs as early as possible to improve health and wellbeing.
