Job Duties:
* Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Scaffold learning tasks to meet the needs of individual students
* Support students in developing social skills and building positive relationships
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Enhanced DBS check
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* First Aid certification
* Training in specific SEN areas such as Autism or ADHD
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily within a school setting
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
* May involve some out-of-hours work for meetings or events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
