Job Title: DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - Mechanical
We are seeking an experienced Development Engineer to join our team in the performance and mechanical development of high-performance powertrains for racing and other non-racing projects.
This is a full-time onsite position, with a competitive salary reflecting your career to date, skills, and level of experience. Additionally, you will receive a performance-related bonus, 35 days standard annual leave, a generous non-contributory pension scheme, company-wide team activity events, a private medical health scheme, and life assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* At least three years post-graduate experience in powertrain development
* A good degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and IC engine systems
* In-depth knowledge of full engine dynamometer and sub-system rig testing
* High-level competence in planning and executing testing activities, analyzing data, and reporting findings in a clear and succinct manner
* Knowledge of combustion pressure measurements and data analysis (e.g., AVL Indicom)
* An ability to design development components is desirable (CAD training can be provided)
