MY Client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Clinical Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership:
- Provide strong clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to all residents.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of care plans to ensure they meet the needs of residents.
- Promote best practices in nursing and care standards.
- Management Duties:
- Assist the Clinical Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursing home.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of nursing and care staff.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Conduct audits and prepare reports for senior management.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by residents, families, or staff promptly and effectively.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Represent the nursing home in meetings and external forums as required.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Extensive experience in a clinical leadership role within a nursing home or similar setting.
- Strong clinical skills with a thorough understanding of best practices in elderly care.
- Proven management skills, including team leadership, performance management, and budget oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
