A client within the Public Sector based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Leader to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a construction environment.
The Role
The key purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the operational and delivery functions of the client's Health and Safety department. The successful candidate will report to the client's Board on competency, service delivery, and financial performance.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Oversee the organic expansion of the team aligned with secured workload.
2. Deliver the CDM Principal Designer and the Building Regulations Principal Designer roles.
3. Deliver through existing client base and framework appointments.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will require a degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications, along with evidence of relevant professional competence.
It will be essential to have experience in the following areas:
* An ambitious and driven candidate who can lead an exceptional health and safety team.
* Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal, communication, business, and organizational skills.
* Organizational and team oversight skills are a key part of this position.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and is offering between £65,000 - £70,000 per annum.
