If so, then read on, we may have a position that could be right for you An ‘outstanding’ school near Wisbech, Norfolk are looking to appoint for a 1:1 support assistant to work on a full-time basis supporting a KS2 pupil with SEMH. The role is challenging, but highly rewarding to those who are good at establishing and building rapport with pupils. As a 1:1 Behavioural Support Assistant, your role will include the following: Motivate and engage the pupils Encourage and aid development of pupils while consistently reporting feedback to leading members of staff. Work alongside key school staff to reduce levels of unauthorised absence and improve levels of attendance and behaviour of the pupils; all of which could be possible through your dedication and commitment to the role Ensure that tasks are carried out professionally, but also in a fun and rewarding manner. If you have: Prior Teaching Assistant Experience Completed training courses relevant to a career in education such as: Prevent Training, Safeguarding, Child Protection NVQ Level 3 – Relevant to working within schools Experience offering 1:1 support to SEN pupils with challenging behaviour Then we would love to hear from you.
