The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR analyst to play a key role in the People Services department at a world leading university.
As People Systems & Reporting Analyst, you will ensure that all management information requirements are met and proactively develop the People & Culture team’s business intelligence capability to improve data quality.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing accurate and timely management and analytical information to UAL stakeholders
2. Actively contributing to the development of UAL / People MI analytics
3. Ensuring up to date practice in terms of data collection and data visualisation methods
4. Developing robust MI solutions to meet the needs of key stakeholders across the University
5. Providing effective support relating to the data and information aspects of workforce planning strategies
You will also be playing an important part in developing the People Systems and Reporting team into a centre of excellence for People reporting across the university.
About you
You will need demonstrable knowledge and experience of MS Excel to at least intermediate level (to include functions such as – data models / advanced formulae / power pivot).
You will also need the ability to analyse data within a HR environment to an intermediatory level, providing clear and concise explanations and insights into the data.
Previous knowledge and experience of using an industry standard HR database (such as MHR’s iTrent) as a system administrator is essential.
Knowledge and experience of reporting and creating dashboards and other visual data representations using industry standard tools is equally important.
