Job summary All Housekeepers, whether regularly rostered or 'Bank' are responsible in providing and maintaining cleaning and catering services as part of the Hotel Services team to office, patient and communal areas on the Southmead AWP site. Ensuring a clean, safe and supportive environment for staff and patients working towards their recovery. You will work as part of a passionate and enthusiastic team putting service user care at the heart of everything they do. High standards of food / hygiene / linen services are provided by our Hotel Services Team and you will be part of this. As a 'Bank' Housekeeper, you will need to be flexible, helping colleagues to create a high standard of service and also to help create a culture of continuous improvement. Main duties of the job We require a friendly, positive thinking, organised and motivated individual to work as a Bank Housekeeper within our Hotel Services Team based at Southmead Hospital. The post holder will be based at Southmead Hospital. The post holder will be required to work shifts between the hours of 07:30 - 13:30 / 16:00 -19:00, Mon-Fri including some weekends if required. You should be highly motivated, reliable, and flexible also willing to work at short notice as there may be opportunities for extra hours. Experience in cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment are essential as you will be working in a demanding environment. Catering and food service experience would be beneficial along with a passion to providing high standards of customer service. Experience of working or volunteering in a mental health and learning disabilities is desirable. Also the ability to provide a positive approach and image, when working with our client group.
