An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust as Lead Pharmacist for Paediatrics and Women's Services. The post holder will be a key member of the clinical pharmacy team providing services to paediatric, gynaecology and obstetrics teams. In addition to excellent communication and leadership skills you will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have previous experience of working within a clinical environment and will have completed a post-graduate diploma in clinical pharmacy. Evidence of multi-disciplinary teamwork and project management is beneficial as is experience of, financial analysis, commissioning and risk management. Previous hospital pharmacy paediatrics and women's services essential for the role. Training and support will be given and a commitment to continuing professional development is essential. We would also consider a band 7 - 8a development programme for interested candidates who do not have sufficient experience. Main duties of the job To lead in delivering the clinical pharmacy medicines optimisation service to patients admitted under the care of Women's Services and Children's Services Ensure excellent patient care through professional advice and services Work effectively as part of a team in a multidisciplinary and pharmacy environment and maintain rapport with medical and other colleagues.
