WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are recruiting for two Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprentices in Operations to join our growing Early Career community at our headquarters in Telford.
RBSL is a growing and exciting business that specialises in the design, manufacture and support of military vehicles used by the British Army that has a growing and dynamic Early Careers programme.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Significant amount of days release to training provider with the remainder of the time spent on site working within the operations function of RBSL.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Day release to the Training Provider where the apprentice will be studying a Level 3 standard Engineering Technician (ST0457) when in the business the apprentice will spend time in various areas of the Operations function, to build upon the knowledge and understanding gained whilst studying at college. This is a hands on apprenticeship which will require individuals to work in our busy shop floor areas, using tools.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On successful completion of the four-year apprenticeship apprentices will be eligible to apply for available vacancies within the RBSL operations team.

Working week: 37 hours per week
Expected apprenticeship duration: 48 Months
Possible start date: September 2025
Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship Level 3 (A level)
