Job Title: Regional Chef

Hourly Rate: £13.24 per hour

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Regional Chef to join our team. The role involves assisting with the preparation, production, and delivery of food across all our homes, along with managing food ordering and stock. The successful candidate will have a set shift pattern and will be required to cover planned annual leave and short-term sickness, with some flexibility to relocate to different homes at short notice.
As a Regional Chef, you will:
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality, fresh meals for residents in line with dietary needs and health & safety regulations
* Work alongside the catering management team to maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation
* Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure the efficient delivery of food orders
* Assist in maintaining food safety standards, including COSHH management, cleaning rotas, and kitchen hygiene
* Provide training and development opportunities to other kitchen staff

Shift Pattern
* Rolling rota (including alternating weekends)
* Working 5 out of 7 days (Pro-rata if Part-time)
* Shift times: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
* Week 1: Monday - Friday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm)
* Week 2:
- Tuesday - Thursday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm)
- Saturday - Sunday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm)
- Monday & Friday off
Some flexibility may be required around days off to accommodate sickness and annual leave.
