Our client is a specialist construction company focusing on HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) and flat conversions within the social housing sector. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, they are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and driven professional to lead exciting projects and play a key role in continued growth. The Role As a Project Manager, you will oversee HMO conversion projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You will manage multiple stakeholders, coordinate teams, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Project Planning & Coordination Work with surveyors, architects, and engineers to develop project plans. Manage and approve building plans, budgets, and schedules. Ensure all projects comply with building regulations and health & safety standards. ✅ Team & Site Management Hire and oversee subcontractors, trades, and site teams. Create work schedules and monitor project progress. Ensure health & safety protocols are followed on-site. Liaise with local authorities, planning departments, and clients. ✅ Project Delivery & Compliance Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Troubleshoot and resolve any project challenges. Maintain clear documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. What We’re Looking For: ✔ Proven experience in Project Management within construction, property development, or refurbishment projects. ✔ Experience managing HMO conversions (preferred but not essential). ✔ Strong knowledge of building plans, surveying, and construction regulations. ✔ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. ✔ Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. ✔ Relevant qualifications such as: Degree, Foundation Degree, or HND in Construction Management, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (CIOB recognised). SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, or CIOB Membership (preferred but not essential).
