The EU Transparency team is a start-up within Amazon responsible for launching the Transparency service for consumer brands in the EU. As an Account Manager Transparency, you will qualify and recruit brands and manufacturers to our platform, shaping our execution through collaboration with industry partners and stakeholders. You will manage recruiting European brands, communicate our service's benefits, ensure brands' successful participation, and facilitate a smooth hand-off to the onboarding team.
This role involves dealing with ambiguity and convincing brands to adopt our service early, offering a unique startup environment opportunity at Amazon. You will contribute to product strategy, take on leadership roles, and help accelerate Transparency adoption by applying effective sales practices, innovating job functions, and training peers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruit and manage relationships with sellers, championing their needs at Amazon.
2. Drive growth by expanding product selection and capitalizing on business opportunities.
3. Lead initiatives and projects, including launching new products and extending relationships in partnership with business development and onboarding teams.
4. Collaborate with sellers to enhance operational aspects and improve customer experience.
5. Identify prospects, communicate value propositions, and build long-term partnerships.
6. Track performance metrics to meet productivity and satisfaction targets.
Basic Qualifications
* German Language: B2.2 or higher, with excellent written and oral communication skills in German.
* Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or Business) with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
* Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Interest in e-Commerce and online business.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment with a passion for customer experience.
* Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
* Creative and analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in supply chain, e-commerce, or technology sectors.
* Knowledge of consumer packaging and counterfeit prevention.
* Experience navigating complex processes and environments.
