Key Purpose of Role The Technical Consultant will receive escalations from 1st and 2nd line engineers and log problem information to be assessed and patched by Development, adding any additional detailed investigatory information required to progress the issue to Development. The Technical Consultant will be responsible for the deployment and implementation of patches and bug fixes. The successful candidate will also be involved with the deployment of upgrades and patch sets bringing new functionality to our existing client base. Job Description: We are looking for someone with a keen eye for fault finding and application support within a web applicat. Responsibilities include: Responsible for the resolution of escalations within the service desk Ensure that you adhere to all support desk procedures Ensure that you adhere to all /service level agreements (SLA) both internal and external Ensure that the escalation procedures are adopted Ensure that logs are resolved as per priority levels Ensure all support calls are properly logged as per agreed procedures Assist with the deployment of Upgrades and Patches Ensure that there is adequate communication between the team and clients Identify application bugs and summarize for handover to development Adopt a proactive approach towards the support logs Ensure that clients have a complete update of outstanding calls/fixes on a regular basis Attend client sites and resolve support issues Provide technical fix training for clients Liaise with third party suppliers on a technical basis Assist with Taranto Systems Ltd Support infrastructure activities (either internal or for clients) as requested. Contribute to all on-going business improvement measures.
