Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 4 students in their core subjects while managing challenging behaviours. You will help implement strategies that allow students to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide classroom support in key subjects such as English and Maths.
2. Assist in managing students' challenging behaviour, using behaviour management strategies.
3. Help create and maintain a structured and safe learning environment.
4. Work closely with teachers to personalise learning for each student.
5. Contribute to students' social, emotional, and academic development.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
6. Experience working with students with SEMH and challenging behaviours.
7. Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
9. Resilience and a calm approach under pressure.
