The Role
As Deputy Engineering Manager, you’ll oversee a team of 10-15 engineers, driving operational excellence and ensuring the smooth running of the site. Your responsibilities will include:
Team leadership: Inspiring and managing your team, developing their skills, and ensuring high performance.
Strategic oversight: Improving the site’s maintenance management structure to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Facilities management: Maintaining all site facilities to the highest standards.
Contractor compliance: Ensuring all third-party contractors meet compliance standards and safety regulations.
Training and development: Playing an active role in upskilling your team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Decision-making under pressure: Using your expertise to resolve complex challenges swiftly and effectively. This role will demand a dynamic, strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and can make impactful decisions confidently.
