Position: Electrical Project Engineer
A leading designer and manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment for the HVAC / BMS industry has an immediate requirement for a Project Engineer to join them at their offices in Slough.

Location: Slough SL1 6JT
Job Responsibilities:
As Project Engineer, you will ideally have experience in the Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning controls market within commercial/industrial buildings.
Key Skills Requirements:
1. HVAC / PLC Controls with specialty in Trend BMS / PLC systems; conversant with writing software using SET, TCP/IP – BACNET / modbus communications.
2. Experience with Trend / Honeywell software.
3. Trend Head End setting up of IQ Vision / Niagara platform experience.
4. Communications networking experience.
5. Must be able to use control panel drawing package EPlan P8 with Pro Panel & Process wire modules.
6. Must be PC literate, with skills in Windows applications i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook.
7. Have project skills – able to handle the financial aspect, responsible for the profit and loss of each project.
8. Able to communicate and work within a team and effectively communicate with all peers.
9. Occasionally assist in on-site commissioning.
10. Generally office-based with occasional visits to construction sites for project meetings.
11. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with fellow peers.
Desirable Electrical Knowledge/Skills:
1. Electrical knowledge of 400V systems – 3-phase 400V motors/1-phase motors, different motor starting techniques i.e., DOL, ASD, Frequency Inverter control.
2. Ability to design motor control centres/control panels Form 2 – Form 4 to IEC61439-1 Part 1 standards.
This position may suit a commissioning engineer wishing to progress into project engineering; junior engineers will also be considered. Additionally, anyone from the process industry with experience in PLC controls, control panel design, and network communication knowledge of current standards i.e., Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU, Profibus will be considered.
