The successful candidate will lead and coach a newly established sales team. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, people management, and fostering strong client relationships. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced people leader with a passion for people development. You will coach and drive your team of Business Development Managers to achieve outstanding results, whilst consistently delivering sales targets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to increase the effectiveness of the team(s) in your division to give our clients a world-class customer experience. You are also expected to confidently navigate through periods of change and ambiguity with a positive and agile mindset. You will inspire the respect and trust of others through integrity, consistency in words, action and commitment and have a positive impact on the working environment to make it safe and respectful. This role will involve regular customer site visits and travel to events and industry conferences. A valid driver's license is required. The Sales Manager (Scotland) will report to the Sales Director and work collectively with the wider Sales team to ensure that the commercial targets are met. What you will be doing: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Business Development Managers through performance management support to maximize their potential, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to achieve their sales targets. Develop and execute sales strategies and business plans that align with Aspire’s growth plans in the region. Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds revenue goals. Foster and maintain collaborative and professional relationships with colleagues across Aspire, to ensure a unified approach to customer satisfaction and business growth. Drive initiatives and promote continuous improvement to achieve excellence in line with business objectives. Identify training and development needs for the sales team, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement strategies for individual and team improvement. You will suit the role if you have: Proven experience in a sales management role within a Sales environment/customer-focused environment Demonstratable leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage, and develop a high-performing team. Success in building and maintaining strategic B2B partnerships and driving revenue growth. Show strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, adaptable to evolving market dynamics. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of effective relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients. Salary The starting salary for this role is £50k-£60k per annum (depending on experience). Your On Target Earning is estimated to be £120k per annum. This role also comes with a car allowance.
