Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, including procurement, manufacturing, and delivery of goods.
* Implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency in the supply chain.
* Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborating with other departments to integrate supply chain with business systems and processes.
* Analysing performance data to measure the effectiveness of supply chain processes.
* Identifying potential issues within the supply chain and implementing solutions.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
* Experience in managing supply chains within the FMCG industry, ideally within an SME environment.
* Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and strategies.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in relevant supply chain software.
