Responsibilities:
* Working closely with the Director of Audience Business Growth, key internal colleagues, and external stakeholders to support the development of the audience strategy and its associated objectives and KPIs.
* Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to promote core activities including programmes and seasons, membership, fundraising, and retail, supporting organisational targets across audience footfall, income, and engagement.
* Provide direct line management and support to the Marketing and Content Coordinator and in-house Designer.
* Lead on design briefs, proofing, and production of printed and digital brochures, advertising, and other assets as needed.
* Support and manage market research projects, working with external agencies where applicable.
* Manage the CRM and insight function, identifying both loyal and new target audience segments, and supporting metrics that identify audience trends to help inform future business decisions.
* Manage and maintain the ICA’s website, ensuring customer journeys and content are regularly updated in line with programme and organisational updates.
* Create and manage digital, email, and print marketing campaigns in line with the audience and marketing yearly operational plan.
* Monitor and report on marketing and communications campaign performance.
* Coordinate and manage agreements with external brand-aligned promotional and media partners to maximise exposure, reach, and income.
* Manage all digital assets including images, video, and graphics, ensuring the content library is managed and maintained.
* Responsible for the development, updating, and maintenance of the ICA’s social media platforms and accounts.
* Develop regular reports on audience data to Arts Council England and other stakeholders when needed.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in an audience and marketing development role, preferably in the creative and cultural industries.
* Demonstrable experience of supporting successful marketing and audience strategies.
* Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and social media platforms.
* Experience in leading stand-out and high-quality marketing and content.
* Previous experience working in or with audience insight teams with a data-driven approach to understanding audiences alongside strong knowledge of CRM management.
* Proficiency in email marketing, website and social platform management, with a good understanding of analytics and campaign management.
* Previous experience in line-management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events and exhibitions.
* High level organisational, communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multi-campaigns and priorities.
