We are a leading Facilities Management (FM) company providing building services from Engineering Maintenance, Cleaning, Catering, Security, and Waste Management across the UK and beyond to a range of prestigious customers, including government and data centres.
To deliver this work, we have thousands of site-based staff working on a Mon to Fri basis on client premises, all organized into their own 'accounts' working to operational, financial, and Health & Safety (H&S) goals.
To ensure staff are completing their jobs in a safe and compliant manner, the employer has a team of Health & Safety Managers, Advisors, Administrators, and Analysts responsible for creating and implementing Health & Safety guidelines for all account teams across the UK.
With a key member of the team shortly due to go on maternity leave, there is a crucial vacancy for a Project Data Coordinator to support day-to-day activities within the central H&S team while also supporting key projects with business-wide implications.
You will provide help across data management and storage, help prepare training materials, and complete a number of administrative tasks, all with the purpose of supporting the successful operation of the central H&S team.
*We do not require you to have any formal H&S qualification or experience; while there will be training available, we are more interested in your ability to manage data, complete your small projects, and work effectively with a range of key internal stakeholders.*
This is a fantastic role for someone looking to develop their data management and/or project skills while becoming exposed to H&S within a large, market-leading specialist in the built environment.
Actions will include:
* Collation, analysis, and dissemination of H&S information and statistics
* Strong collaboration with the UK&I H&S Team, Operations Performance, and Group to improve processes
* Manage the H&S purchasing and GRN processes
* Support the business with VEHS, Assessnet, and Insight queries
* Project manage Insight performance and improvements
* Effective collaboration on bids, tenders, mobilisations, and transitions
* Ensure Group, UK, and Segment reporting is accurate
* Suggest and manage improvements to the H&S SharePoint pages
* Lead other H&S projects as required
* Track and report on internal metrics such as overdue incidents, lessons identified, and IRP completion
* Drive a consistent approach to H&S and collaborate with Operations Performance teams and central functions to embed ‘Stronger, Simpler, Closer’
We need from you:
* Some experience of Data Management and ideally completing small projects independently
