Herefordshire Council is looking to appoint a highly motivated Governance Support Co-ordinator.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to continue or commence your career in school and academy governance.

Whilst the role offers flexibility within the allocated hours, there will be a need to work some evenings.
The post holder should have the ability to present information clearly and assertively.
You should have an understanding and knowledge of the role of governors and trustees within the management structure of a school or academy. Although experience in governance and academy law and procedure would be desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided.
The post holder should have the ability to present information clearly and assertively and you must have the ability to work on your own initiative and be able to demonstrate outstanding planning and organisational skills as well as being competent in the use of the Microsoft Windows package. (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) Evening working will be required, and the post holder will need to be flexible.
If you feel you could make a difference and are able to quickly develop good working relationships, you work well within a climate and culture of continuous improvement and you can receive, understand and convey information and ideas effectively, we would love to hear from you.
